Spice and Spike love Vancouver where people are friendly and there are lots of turfs for them to run around. Since I had to go to China to continue my studies, they had to come with me. We left around the beginning of February, 2005, and stayed there for about a year. The cities they have been to in China are Shanghai, Suzhou and Xian.

Then, they went to Belgium with me at the end of January, 2006 by Lufthansa. It has a pet friendly policy so I can bring them with me into the cabin, under the seats, in their kennel as carry-on-baggage. However, the prices they charge are quite shockingly expensive (make your palms all sweaty). So, owners, be prepared to pay for the exorbitant prices for your beloved pets if you are taking yours in the cabin with Lufthansa. They are charged as excess baggage and by kilos.

But, hey, what is the price of making sure that your loved ones are safe and sound? Priceless!!!

Now, I am in Vancouver and only Spike got to travel back with me. However, we are returning to Belgium on the 23rd of July. Yeah....I am going to study my masters. I consider myself quite lucky, having the chance of studying literally around the world.
